Value Betting Odds- 08/05/2013

I've finished my degree. All that hard work is done and I now have a bit more free time on my hands. Over the past few weeks I have developed my gambling habits into an education (in-between assignments of course) and after a fair bit of success in my last blog concerning value odds, I thought I would keep it going. I'm not a professional gambler, I haven't been doing this for long, but I believe these games are showing great value tonight. All bets are done with Bet365.

Let's get to it shall we?

"Double"

Chelsea V Tottenham- Over 2.5 Goals
Celta Vigo V Atletico Madrid- Under 2.5 Goals

£10 Returns £28.93

Reason: The winner of this match will be in the Champions League next season in my opinion. I don't think either team will be content with a draw, and both teams have a habit of scoring plenty of goals. 82.4% of Tottenham's away matches this season have had over 2.5 goals, scoring in 94% of them. Bale is on fire and Tottenham are going to do all they can to push Chelsea all the way tonight. Chelsea on the other hand have only failed to score in 17.6% of their home games this season, and with everything to fight for, I can see this game having plenty of goals. Both teams are coming into this game off the back of 1-0 wins this weekend, and at odds of 8/11, this is good value.

My reasoning for the next game is mainly due to statistics, as I am not completely up to date with Spanish football. There have been only 3 goals in Atletico's last 4 away games, and Atletico haven't conceded in 6 away games. Celta Vigo concede a fair few goals, however I don't see this game being a huge challenge for Atletico, and I think they might just take their time and ensure an efficient performance rather than a dominant one. Under 2.5 goals at 8/11 is also very good value, and combining the two returns nearly 2/1!

"Double"

Atlanta V Juventus- Juventus Draw No Bet
Inter Milan V Lazio- Over 2.5 Goals

£10 Returns £27.56

Reason: The first bet is a no brainer. Juventus have been unstoppable in Serie A this season, and I don't believe today will be any different. Juventus are undefeated in 10 games and have had a brilliant season domestically. Atlanta on the other hand are distinctly average, they haven't won in their last 3 home games and that win was against lowly Pescara. The reason I would suggest a Draw No Bet is because Atlanta have a habit of drawing, and Juventus may relax as they have already won the league and so have nothing to play for.

The next game is a tad more dangerous, betting on over 2.5 goals in a defensive league can backfire, but I believe this game has the potential for goals. Inter Milan and Lazio will want to finish as high up the table as possible, and with only two points between them, this could be a good game. Lazio come off the back of a 6-0 win, and it wasn't long ago Inter had a 4-3 thriller with Atlanta so there is potential here. This is probably the most dangerous bet, so feel free to replace them with another team if you are not confident.

These are the bets I have on for tonight, so I'll see how successful I am tonight!

Best of luck to everyone and thank you for reading,
